On The Road – Conferences H1/2019

No Comments on On The Road – Conferences H1/2019

How fast it always goes…and again so much time has passed…

Winter is slowly coming to an end…everything is looking towards spring and so it will be time for one or the other conference. That means, besides numerous trips and a lot of preparation, a lot of fun with the community. New faces, interesting conversations and many friends and acquaintances.

Today I’ll give you an overview of my conference schedule for the first half of the year (for the time being…as some “Call for Speakers” are not yet finished).

Here we go…

Azure Bonn Meetup – Feb 19th

Already next week I will be a speaker at the Azure Meetup Bonn. The topic of the evening will be “Azure Governance”…but not only in theory…everybody is invited to bring his notebook and try out for himself what is possible in the workshop part.

Start is at 6pm on Tuesday – Registrations are still possible at the Azure Bonn Meetup page

MVP Summit Redmond – March 17th to 22nd

As every year I am looking forward to the MVP Summit in Redmond. Numerous MVPs from all over the world gather together with the Microsoft Product Groups to look into the future of the Microsoft world, gain hands-on experience, discuss and have a lot of fun.

Special this year for me:

On the Community Pre-Day, on Sunday, I’m allowed to give a lecture on the topic Community and Taekwon-Do…so not technical but exciting.

Microsoft Ignite | The Tour – Seoul – April 3rd to 4th

A further highlight in the conference roadmap will be the Ignite The Tour in Seoul (south korea). I am very happy, because Korea has always been a dream of mine…especially since my martial art connects me very much with it.

Ignite The Tour Seoul

In Seoul I will be giving two speeches. Firstly, I will talk about successful Azure migrations. The other session is about Taekwon-Do and the community….let’s see how it is received in the home country of the TKD.

Intelligent Cloud Conference Copenhagen – April 8th to 10th

The Intelligent Cloud Conference will continue a week later in Denmark. I was already there last year as a speaker and met great people and had great experiences.

Also in this year I can be present again and will talk about Azure Health Checks.

Global Azure Bootcamp – April 27th

After a short break we continue with the Global Azure Bootcamp at the end of April. On this (hopefully sunny) Saturday people from all over the world will get together and expand their knowledge about Azure.

I myself am organizing a GAB in Jena with the support of Intershop Communications AG. The topics will be DevOps and Cloud Management.

Registrations are still available, so please register on our Azure Thüringen Meetup site

If you are not at home in Thuringia, you are welcome to visit the official GAB website to search for an event near you.

Cloud and Datacenter Conference Hanau – May 21st to 22nd

In May we will continue with one of the few conferences dedicated to the On-Premises audience. Also this year the CDC will take place in Hanau.

There’s still time…but better register now!!!

ExpertsLive NL – June 6th

The last confirmed event so far is the ExpertsLive in the Netherlands. Already last year I was allowed to participate and I am even more happy to be able to share my knowledge at this huge event again this year.
