So Microsoft publishes a list of recommended hotfixes and updates for Hyper 2012 R2 Servers and Clusters.
Here you can find the two updated lists:

Recommended hotfixes and updates for Windows Server 2012 R2-based failover clusters
Also i have updated the script to find the actual patch state:
Hyper-V Server and Cluster Update Check
The script is looking for recommended Hotfixes and updates on a list of Hyper-V Servers. If the KB is not found it will be highlighted in the output and you are able to fix this fast and install the fix.

Cool script! How have you been populating the xml files with the latest available updates?
You can find the link to the actual list in the article.
I just go through the updates and add them to the XML manually.
