Office 2016 Public Preview available for customers and companies
5. May 2015
Like mentioned today at MSIgnite the Office 2016 Public Preview is available for download.
If you are using an active O365 subscription it will look like this actually:
All further information, like about install methods, you can find here: Office 2016 Preview
Features:
- Attachements in Outlook could be linked directly to OneDrive. so you do not have to attach the whole file…just a link to OneDrive. The required permissions in OneDrive were set inline, so you can do this all from Outlook and do not have to leave it.
- Co-Authoring documents is actually possible with Office Online Apps…now with Office 20165 this capability is brought to the Desktop Version of Office Products too.
- Easy publishing of Excel Workbooks in Power BI
- modern design, also when using graphs and charts
- support for MFA in Outlook
- Deployment with SCCM is more integrated
- ability to view users activated devices.
My click-2-run installer is still running…but Hotel WiFi is not the best here in Chicago…
So enjoy testing…
