Who is going to use the actual Windows 10 TH2 Image, will note that there is a small issue in the WIM file…
the final Build 10586 (aka version 1511) is showing the following information when getting WIM-Info:
So first Build 10586 is a final released version of Windows 10. So there was no Technical Preview with this build number!!!
It is just a glitch in labeling the WIM-Files…
TIP: Just ignore and Keep on going!!!
As soon as you are creating a custom image form this, e.g. using a SCCM tasksequence or so, it will show correct labels.
So some management tools are not fine with this litte mistake. One of my customers told me (thank you for that!) that the DELL softwaredistribution tool says, that there is no client for this “Testversion”…so you cannot use it…
So i think at the Moment the only way is to use a custom WIM if your tools can’t handle it…
