WSUS / SUP – April 2015 Updates silently fail to synchronize

After last Patch-Tuesday some of you may alsom have had this issue with WSUS synchronization:

Issue:

Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) silently fails to synchronize updates that are released in April 2015. This includes the updates that were released on April 14, 2015 (Patch Tuesday).

Cause:

Microsoft is aware of this problem and is investigating the cause.

In a nutshell:
1. disable classification, which is not syncing
2. sync updates
3. enable classifications
4. snyc updates

If you are using SCCM you should resync updates in SCCM
