SCCM – System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager CU 5 released

Here we are…and it’s tiem for another CU…

Microsoft has released Cumulative Update 5 (CU 5) for SCCM 2012 R2 today.

This Update contains all previous update and those fixes:

• license report 14A – issue when calculating downgrade rights
• prestaged packages cannot be removed
• Content download fails on metered connections
• issue when distributing driver packages to pull-DPs
• changes to collections take long time
• SMS Executive stops when there are to many DNS issues on System Discovery
• Issue with Group discovery
• Distribution of Content packages is delayed
• policy processing takes too long
• SMS Agent Host Service stops when Bitlocker ist enabled
• issue on os-capture
• Networking issues
• Clients cannot download Driver package

and like always….be careful when applying this CU. Please check if there is a woking Backup….!
